Registration is Open for Fall 2012 Season

The Fall season will be from October - December with the majority of sessions at Springfield Ice Rink. Players are grouped by age (at this point in time, we anticipate three age groupings). All ice times are on Saturdays and Sundays and players will be scheduled 1-2 times/week for skills/drills/practices and games.

The final cost of the Fall season will depend on the total number of players; however, the cost will most likely be between $175 and $200.

If  your  son  or  daughter is interested in learning about hockey, but  the  time  and money commitment seems daunting, the Hawks In The House program may be for you. Hawks In The House is a low cost in-house league designed to introduce the sport to boys and girls 6-15 year olds and provide instruction from experienced coaches.

SHL has two seasons: Fall (October - December) and Winter (January - March). Players may play one or both seasons, so hockey can be balanced with other activities.  We strive to make hockey affordable, safe (no checking), and reasonable for parents (set times on set days). Our goal is to put smiles on faces and instill a love for hockey similar to the tradition of the old "THL" at the Springfield Ice Rink.
